We are pleased to announce that Jon Marc Asper's paper "A Defense of Parity: Value Intransitivity without a Money Pump", and Alek Wilsey's paper "An Illocutionary Model of Discursive Injustice", have been accepted for presentation at the next APA Eastern Meeting. Let’s give them a round of hearty congratulations!!

Eric Rowse, graduate student from our Department, will be presenting at the next APA Pacific Division Meeting, which will be in San Diego, California. He will present his paper entitled "Democratic Egalitarianism and the Indifference Objection" on Wednesday, March 28th,2018. Congratulations!

 

Congratulations to an alumnus of our department, Katy Shorey (Ph.D., 2015), on her recent placement as Assistant Teaching Professor (permanent post) for the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She begins Fall 2018

We would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to an alumnus of our department, Andrew Moon (Ph.D., 2010), on his placement as an assistant professor in the philosophy department at Virginia Commonwelth University.
