Congratulations to junior Philosophy major Brendan Durbin, who has been selected as the 2020 winner of the department's Outstanding Major Award!

A generous donation from an anonymous donor has made it possible since 2016 for the department to give one or two students each year an Outstanding Major Award of $1,000 toward their tuition.  An Awards Committee determines the winners on the basis of their exceptional performance in a substantial number of philosophy courses, especially upper-division ones.  Any MU philosophy major who will return in the following Fall semester is eligible.
